VISMED® GEL, with its higher concentration of sodium hyaluronate (0.3%, almost twice the amount of VISMED®), is the solution which delivers longer-lasting relief from persistent symptoms of dryness in the eye.

Description

Tests have shown that solutions with higher concentrations of sodium hyaluronate stay on the eye for longer, and will therefore increase the thickness and stability of the tear film.

VISMED® GEL also contains essential ions and as a hypotonic solution it supplies the tissue effectively with moisture.

Due to its high concentration VISMED® GEL feels silky on the eye and needs to be applied less frequently.

VISMED® GEL is preservative-free. It is presented in boxes of 20 single-dose vials which guarantee a simple dosage.

Usage

Twist off the tab and position the tip of the vial above the eye to be treated: upon slight pressure, VISMED® GEL will easily flow out of the vial. Unless otherwise recommended, place one or two drops of VISMED® GEL into the conjunctival sac of the eye as often as needed.

A sensation of blurred vision may be experienced immediately after application. After blinking, the solution will disperse and form a transparent and long-lasting coating on the surface of the eye. VISMED® GEL may also be used while wearing contact lenses (rigid or soft).

As VISMED® GEL does not contain preservatives, any solution not used immediately after opening should be discarded.



VISMED® GEL MULTI

Just like VISMED® GEL, VISMED® GEL MULTI has a higher concentration of 0.3% sodium hyaluronate, and thus achieves a longer-lasting relief of persistent symptoms in the eye.

VISMED® GEL MULTI is indicated in case of symptoms and signs of dry eye and/or ocular surface damage, due to diseases such as superficial keratitis, Sjögren syndrome or primary dry eye syndrome.

For sustained lubrication of the eyes in case of sensation of dryness, burning and ocular fatigue and other minor complaints of no pathological significance induced, for example, by dust, smoke, dry heat, air conditioning, wind, cold, extended computer screen, contact lens wear (rigid or soft) or by ophthalmological screening methods. Its gel formulation makes it a high protective solution for patients post refractive surgery.

VISMED® GEL MULTI also contains essential ions and is a hypotonic formulation.

Due to its high concentration, VISMED® GEL MULTI feels silky on the eye and needs to be applied less frequently. It offers high protection, anytime, anywhere. 

VISMED® GEL MULTI is preservative-free and suitable for all types of contact lenses. It is presented in a 10ml multidose container.
